    What will you be doing | Ngā whainga
    This role manages global partnerships with Tourism New Zealand’s global media partners such as Google, Meta or TripAdvisor and manages the integration of our paid media partnership workstreams into our activity into global campaign activity. You will also assist and support Tourism New Zealand’s global media agency and evaluate global paid media effectiveness and performance.
    You will collaborate across global market teams and take commercial partnerships to the next level in driving better results and performance.
    This is an opportunity where you will have broad channel scope to plan, and the support of a global media agency network.

What you will need | Ngā pūkenga mō tēnei tūranga

  • Media agency experience, ideally with some experience working with global and off shore teams with the ability to review media strategies and media plans
  • Experienced digital marketer with a strong understanding of the current consumer landscape and relevant touchpoints.
  • Understand the principles of the consumer journey and how to effectively target across the buying funnel from dreaming to purchase.
  • Well-developed project management and delivery capability, particularly the delivery of complex multidisciplinary projects.
  • Outstanding stakeholder and campaign management skills.
  • The ability to see the big picture about marketing issues and be able to translate these into recommendations.
  • You will need courage to deliver extraordinary work and have a keen interest in designing and implementing projects that have not been done before.
