JOB SUMMARY

As the Marketing Manager for Shadow Foam, you will be diving into the action to grow the business no just in the UK, but into the EU, US and worldwide. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies with the assistance of strategic freelancers and the in-house team to deliver tangible results that translate into revenue. We are looking for someone that has experience in growing an e-commerce business in new and innovate ways. We don’t always do things the traditional way here, so an individual with out-of-the-box thinking, and a desire to test, innovate and develop new strategies is the perfect match to head Shadow Foam’s marketing team. This role requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills to effectively engage our target audience and achieve our business objectives.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

First and foremost, we are looking for the person that will gel with our current team. We believe that the person matters more than the qualifications that they hold. However, we do require a base-level competency which is demonstrated either through a degree, or portfolio of previous professional work. If you have the proven ability to grow, develop and nurture an e-commerce business, with creative flair, then this position is for you.

  • BSc in Marketing (or similar qualification e.g. CIM), or senior-level experience through CPD
  • Professional experience (5+ years) in marketing and management experience
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to create and meet targets
  • Ability to appraise the customer journey through analytic tools and make recommendations and execute actions based on your findings
  • Demonstrable knowledge of marketing theory in a practical setting
  • Understanding of best practices for digital marketing and compliance in the digital world
  • Skills to identify under-developed areas of the marketing strategy and implement change, or find strategic freelancers to plug gaps
  • Self-motivation and the ability to create and execute tasks independently
  • Ability to justify your plans, goals and strategies to internal and external stakeholders
