Responsibilities:

WHAT THE ROLE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Contribute to and implement marketing strategies that align with XY Sense’s business goals and objectives.
  • Manage multi-channel marketing activities, including digital marketing, content creation, social media, events, and PR.
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling marketing materials and sales enablement tools.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI. This includes managing relationships with contractors/agencies.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize and improve effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote XY Sense’s products and services.

YOUR BACKGROUND TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing a marketing budget and optimizing resources for maximum impact.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for marketing events (Mainly in Australia but also opportunities (if interested) for travel to events with our teams around the world…. New York, London and Singapore).

ROLE LOCATION

This role will ideally be based in Melbourne, Australia providing close connection to our HQ in the CBD and leadership group. As noted above, we support flexible/hybrid work and the expectation for this role would be to attend the office for 1-2 days per week (typical week).
