LOCATION: HOT DESKS ACROSS BIRMINGHAM MUSEUM SITES / HYBRID

We are looking for a highly motivated Marketing Officer to implement cross platform marketing campaigns for Birmingham Museums’ full programme of activity using a variety of tools from out of home marketing to paid digital and partnership campaigns with organisations across Birmingham
You will work within the colleagues across the organisation to deliver campaigns that support organisational objectives and expand our reach to mass audiences.
The role is instrumental in helping to achieve visitor attendance and income at Birmingham Museums’ nine venues and in communicating our vision and impact to all audiences. This role will have specific campaign or activity budgets inside which it will have to deliver and will work with the Marketing Manager to understand and deliver these.

To succeed in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • An understanding of the Trust’s commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Experience of working within a relevant marketing role
  • Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating campaigns
  • The ability work efficiently in a team
  • An eye for design to help create effective visual campaigns
  • A keen interest in museums as well as the culture sector in Birmingham and the wider region
