The position calls for a passionate individual with strong organizational and project management skills - well-organized, structured and results & solutions oriented, who thrives by being in the action and can build relationships in cross functional teams. The ideal candidate has a marketing experience with a strong business acumen and exceptional communication skills.

  • Leads the Sperry global go-to-market Brand & Marketing process, ensuring fulfillment of individual and team accountabilities, as well as completion of on-time deliverable for seasonal marketing development at each seasonal milestone;
  • Manages the development of seasonal category sales tools and sell-in toolkits for marketing stories;
  • Ensure milestone meetings are scheduled and agendas are set;
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure deliverables meet expectations and are delivered on time;
  • Develops marketing operations processes, agendas, tool to drive team productivity and enable best in class deliverables;
  • Manages the overall Brand & Marketing budget, working closely with each of the team leaders;
  • Manages major strategic projects, developing and driving a work plan across multiple stakeholder groups to ensure milestone-relevant timelines are met, and results are delivered;
  • Assists the Brand & Marketing team with projects as assigned

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Brand & Marketing, the Marketing Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in the development of our brand & marketing strategy and activations as part of the go-to-market marketing plan for the Sperry brand. They will play an important role in driving the go-to-market brand & marketing process, calendar, and creation of deliverables – ensuring cross functional teams meet key milestones. They will be responsible in establishing and driving processes to enable the full Sperry Brand & Marketing team to develop global marketing stories that are told across all channels, while managing projects and drive cross functional alignment and communication to improve team’s output and ways of working.
