We have an immediate opening for a Marketing Performance Analyst in our Overland Park, KS office. This is a full-time position responsible for leveraging a dynamic set of data analysis and visualization tools to create, maintain, and QA client marketing performance datasets and dashboards across a portfolio of travel clients.
Our clients expect our analytics services to not only provide reporting on marketing performance, but also help them better understand their visitors, visitor and resident in-market behavior, changes in visitor makeup, seasonal changes to market visitation, and more. Working hand in hand with clients, MMGY Media, and 3rd party data providers, the MMGY Analytics team plays an integral role in successful campaign planning, execution, and measurement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Finance or similar
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge (SQL experience is a plus)
  • 2-3 year of business analytical work, specifically data visualization software experience; Tableau specific experience preferred
  • Awareness of client business issues, industry trends, consumer trends and media landscape
  • Knowledge of key digital/analytic tools/platforms: Google Ads, Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Social platforms, Adobe Analytics, etc.
  • Comprehensive understanding of metrics: Media (e.g., impression, GRP, CPV, CVR, ROAS etc.) and Measurement analytics
  • Independent worker eager to demonstrate personal accountability
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Responsibilities:

ROLE IN A SNAPSHOT:

  • Possess a foundational understanding of data analysis and data visualization
  • Champion monthly client campaign reporting
  • Provide leadership and confidence to explain campaign performance metrics to a variety of audiences
  • Seek out opportunities to improve and automate existing reporting processes
  • Possess a strong desire to learn new concepts, software, and data analysis/visualization techniques

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Assist with building and maintaining client-facing marketing performance Tableau dashboards
  • Collect and analyze data from external marketing vendors translating data into insights for the MMGY Media team and clients
  • Work with MMGY Media team on ad hoc reporting requests
  • Responsible for maintaining ad hoc datasets within MMGY’s database
  • Coordinate data connections in performance reporting
  • Lead client analytics meetings, presenting insights and making marketing recommendations derived from multiple data sources
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to collect requirements for dashboard builds
  • Establish and adhere to client and internal deadlines
  • Working with the internal media teams on custom client dashboard builds and PPT presentations from data produced from advertising campaigns.
  • The role will also assist the MMGY media team with client website analytics tracking implementation, development of marketing measurement and creative tagging strategies.
  • Research latest technology and trends on data visualization best practices and communication
