JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Strategy and Insights Director, the Portfolio Strategy Lead is accountable for providing analysis to identify the Demand Spaces, Portfolio of brands, innovation roadmap and supply transformation strategies to best deliver our Mars Pet Nutrition (MPNA) growth ambitions across Australia and New Zealand.
This is a great high-exposure role for high performing talent interested in broadening business strategy experience for future leadership roles. The Portfolio Strategy Lead will exercise superior analytical skills, strong financial acumen, business acumen and have strong project management skills to drive results. You will use the insights gained to frame insights and enable choices and actions that deliver on Mar Pet Nutrition strategic & value creation objectives and facilitate the embedding and sequencing of outcomes into business process to ensure delivery.
Responsibilities:
Using a range of data sources including sales data, financial analysis and primary consumer research the Portfolio Strategy Lead shall manage and execute strategy projects focussed upon generating superior growth choices across the Mars Pet Nutrition Australia/New Zealand portfolio including:
- Demand Spaces measurement
- Market Level Brand Roles, Strategic fit and prioritisation
- Supply Prioritisation and Transformation Strategies
- Demand Led Innovation Prioritisation
- Marketing Cross Portfolio Sustainability Strategy
The role will also be accountable for the execution of results, and embedding into process, of signature Mars capabilities including:
- Growth Model and Flywheel integration into relevant teams and processes
- Calorie Conversion Measurement
- Innovation target setting and flow through to relevant teams and processes
