Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
We want someone to support the business in effective sourcing of key external supply partners across all categories of indirect goods and services for the boohoo Group. Ensuring costs are managed in line with financial budgets and savings targets, best value for money is achieved, ROI is in line with expected performance, innovation and continuous improvement is maximised and risk is minimised across all categories. Primarily Manchester based however, depending on the project; occasional travel to the London office may be required.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Ensure consistently high service levels are achieved with key suppliers and drive continuous improvement while minimising risk.
- Build strong relationships with internal budget holders and stakeholders. Ensure projects are well defined and business cases are fully approved before starting sourcing activities.
- Collaborate with the Head of Procurement & Internal Stakeholders to develop and implement category strategy plans that support cost reviews in multiple areas, including Marketing and Advertising.
- Manage the commercial relationships with new and existing suppliers, ensuring competitively priced and legally robust contracts and commercial arrangements that have established, monitored, and exceeded service levels.
- Assist the Head of Procurement & Internal stakeholders in formal sourcing and contract review processes, as well as in-contract commercial and contract negotiations.
- Regularly research alternative suppliers and markets to drive ongoing best practices into our services.
- Prepare monthly reports and updates for the Head of Procurement to present to the Board & Internal Directors.
