Description:
Excelsior University seeks a strategic Marketing Program Manager to drive impactful campaigns for the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and strengthen student engagement. Join our team shaping the future of online education!
The Marketing Program Manager (CNHS) shapes and implements data-driven marketing initiatives to support Excelsior University’s enrollment and brand positioning. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role involves planning, executing, and optimizing campaigns across channels such as email, paid media, and digital to reach enrollment targets. This full-time, hybrid role requires at least two days on-site at the Excelsior home office in Albany, NY, with the flexibility for remote work on other days. Responsibilities include collaborating across departments, analyzing performance data, and ensuring marketing initiatives for the College of Nursing and Health Sciences align with institutional goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-channel campaigns (email, paid media, digital) to align with university goals.
- Identify trends and adjust strategies to reflect market shifts.
- Oversee A/B testing and other optimization techniques.
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing on strategic decisions.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external agencies and College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
- Coordinate with admissions, student services, and creative teams for integrated campaigns.
- Monitor and report on KPIs, including conversion rates and ROI.
- Analyze marketing data for actionable insights.
- Diagnose campaign challenges and develop solutions.
- Manage program campaign budgets and track expenses across media.
- Develop process documentation to streamline workflows.
- Provide strategic direction to junior staff and external partners.

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- The Marketing Program Manager (CNHS) should posses strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to inform decision-making.
- Demonstrate excellent communication abilities, with a talent for conveying insights and strategies clearly to diverse audiences, including leadership.
- proactive problem-solver, the ideal candidate should excel in independent decision-making, show a high degree of initiative, and be adaptable to a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- The role requires a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and maximizing the impact of marketing initiatives.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools, a solid grasp of digital marketing strategies, and the ability to communicate complex information.
The hiring salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $73,000.00. The hiring salary range above represents the University’s good faith estimate at the time of posting.
