Our Marketing team has a brilliant opportunity for a Marketing Promotions Specialist to support shaping what our Kogan.com customer experience is like! Reporting to our Head of Marketing Promotions & Communications, your role will support the end to end planning, creation and distribution of our marketing campaigns and promotional content across our owned channels (website, email, SMS and Social Media).
Whether you’re implementing marketing campaigns, promoting new products, or partnering with other teams on content, this is a dynamic role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring promotional content is optimal and high quality.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Coordinating campaigns from briefing to collateral creation and final execution.
  • Creating compelling promotional content for Kogan, Dick Smith, and Matt Blatt brands.
  • Managing end-to-end promotional processes across multiple channels (email, mobile, website, social media, SMS).
  • Developing campaign briefs and ensure alignment with brand guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Supporting the Marketing Promotional Planner in delivering the promotional calendar.
  • Creating, proofreading, and implementing accurate website and marketing content.
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Purchasing teams, and external partners to develop effective marketing materials.
  • Sharing ideas and collaborating on strategies to enhance communication channels.
  • Proactively identifying innovative marketing promotions to maintain industry leadership.
  • Monitoring and reporting on email campaign performance, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD BE:

  • University Degree qualified in a relevant field (Marketing, Communications or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience working in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field in end to end campaign management
  • Genuinely interested in email campaigns, EDMs with practical experience to support. If you have some exposure or experience in HTML email templates and CMS systems, that’s a bonus!
  • Comfortable working within the Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop
  • Focused on attention to detail and pride yourself on an exceptional eye!
  • Have developed exceptional time management skills, being able to effectively manage multiple projects and timelines successfully
