    With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team in Camarillo, CA! This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes knowledge of the food safety market within territories to drive a segment focused strategic marketing campaign to high growth segments. You will be able to conceptualize and develop marketing campaigns that generate leads and then engage with them to ensure that the leads are qualified for the sales team. You will be responsible for accelerating leads in the pipeline to assist sales to close business.
  • Has the ability to analyze and engage in industry segments, understand the competitive environment, and customer demographics (personas) to develop Hygiena message architecture, unique selling propositions and brand position in the marketplace.
  • Be able to engage with both internal stakeholders and channel partners to assist, to develop and implement measurable campaigns on country focused products using multiple platforms and channels.
  • Ensures campaign tracking mechanisms are in place to effectively track KPIs and develop reports.
  • Be able to work cross functionally regionally and globally and contribute to the regional and global marketing team to ensure that global and regional strategy is aligned and that the Hygiena brand is developed.
  • Monitor progress and measure results of all key marketing campaigns through regular pipeline inspection & deal tracking. Create and manage a regional marketing dashboard that tracks effectiveness & impact of marketing spend on pipeline, using defined tools and resources.
  • Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seek guidance as necessary.
  • Actively support and participate in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
  • Carry out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
  • Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Marketing, Advertising or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience, required.
  • Minimum of two to five (2-5) years’ experience in Marketing field or similar marketing role.
  • Experience and knowledge within the food safety industry.
  • Experience working in a Marketing role in the scientific and food safety industry with demonstrated campaign success.
  • Strong client focus, relationship building skills and stakeholder management internally and externally
  • Able to confidently manage multiple business/time critical marketing projects and deadlines
  • Independent can-do attitude and can operate with minimal direction and is able to be an active contributor at a regional and global level,
  • A working knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, social media CRM systems, exhibition management, marketing automation tools and a range of other platforms to develop, launch and measure campaigns. Google Analytics knowledge a plus
  • Must be an excellent team player with a positive attitude and have a commitment to development in their role and within the team.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to pay close attention to details and is able to deliver campaigns to brief and on time.
  • Should have significant experience developing and strategic and tactical marketing plan for US market.
  • Must be able to adapt and flex to a changing environment. Must be able to co-manage and inform campaign success, evaluate and report on event performance, post-event ROI tracking, and host debrief(s).
