The Market Development Specialist II will support the execution of marketing operations for the Cell Biology (CB) business. This team member will have a pivotal role, collaborating with a broad network of colleagues across various programs, and will assist our business partners, thereby contributing to the global growth of the Business Unit.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years Project Management/Marketing experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
- Strong Excel and presentation skills. Database experiences a plus.
- Ability to work within a cross-functional environment.
- Identify and introduce processes to streamline marketing operations thus driving efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinating global marketing events, encompassing both virtual and in-person formats such as seminars, conferences, user meetings, trade shows, product exhibitions, and user trainings, while rigorously adhering to brand guidelines, marketing budget, and schedule.
- Develop and implement event promotional collateral and plan.
- Create documented standardized process around events to help facilitate efficiency and efficacy.
- Coordinate the deployment of CB Scientist-to-Scientist (S2S) and Gibco Galaxy Tour events for CB, collaborating closely with divisional marketing, commercial, and R&D departments.
- Support the team in monitoring and optimizing third-party marketing campaigns, trade shows, and digital channels, focusing on strategy, lead generation, nurturing, and conversion rates to cultivate business growth and increase return on investment.
- Tailor, blend, document, and adapt project management, marketing operations, communication and relationship building approaches to drive the best results and outcomes for customers and internal team members.
- Collaborate with and build strong, positive relationships with key partners to build and deliver clear, concise, and informative status updates to a wide range of partners to ensure awareness of project status and risks.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive event reports, summarizing takeaways, attendee feedback, and lessons learned. Provide recommendations for future events based on evaluation findings and industry standard methodologies.
