Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

In this role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing activities to support Metergy Solutions Inc. This position resides in the Sales & Marketing department and reports directly to the Manager, Marketing & Product. You will support the Marketing team in developing the annual marketing plans and budgets aligned with corporate and business goals. Managing relationships with advertising agencies and various marketing partners in order to achieve desired metrics and results will be critical to success in this role.

Qualifications :

  • Undergraduate University Degree or College Diploma in a related field (eg Business, Marketing, etc.) with a minimum of 3 years’ marketing experience
  • Extensive experience marketing products and services within an B2B context - preferably experience with Enterprise account-based marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, consensus building, time management, conflict resolution, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce (or other CRM tool), Adobe Illustrator and InDesign would be an asset
  • Excellent skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Wor

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Marketing Communications / Awareness:

  • Assist with the development of company branded collateral, PowerPoint presentations and other written materials, ensuring consistency in all communications, brand image and messaging
  • Develop marketing and sales collateral such as sell sheets, case studies, and standardized presentations and proposals
  • Develop, execute and track region or sector-based marketing plans including expansion to new geographies across North America
  • Coordinate internal and external communications and activities to ensure alignment with corporate marketing and communications strategy
  • Lead the design, writing and implementation of new marketing initiatives including, client facing collateral, product launches, brand building, digital programs, and events (trade shows)
  • Leverage SalesForce.com to track marketing programs related to our products, services and associated campaigns

Marketing Planning and Execution

  • Manage the day-to-day planning and execution of corporate and client facing events, industry conferences, and trade shows, including pre- and post-event communications and attendee management
  • Event coordination from initiation to reporting, including tracking invitations, RSVP’s, securing venues, event participation, coordinating room preparation, surveys, and follow-up
  • Manage marketing agency relationships and budgets to ensure programs are delivered on time and on budget
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to support multiple projects including campaigns, and events
  • Manage all sponsorship activities. Responsible for sponsor prospecting, proposal customization and presentation, contract revision and servicing, sponsor follow-up and support
  • Coordinate events and trade shows, from planning to execution, to increase brand visibility

Analytics & Reporting

  • General understanding of various Digital Marketing tactics (eg. SEO, PPC, Social, Email, etc.)
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management as needed. Other requirements and responsibilities in line with organizational needs
  • Developing and managing marketing budgets to ensure effective allocation of resources and maximum ROI
