Position Title: Marketing Specialist
Reporting To: Director of Marketing
Location: Salem, NH
The Company: Taymax Group Acquisition, LLC (“Taymax”)
Opportunity:
Taymax Group, LP, a Planet Fitness franchisee, is seeking a motivated and experienced individual for our Marketing Specialist position. Working closely with the Vice President of Marketing and Director of Marketing, this position assists with the execution of Taymax’s multi-million-dollar annual marketing budget. The Marketing Specialist will support marketing initiatives in all 164 Planet Fitness clubs throughout the US and Canada and assist with the rollout of new club openings.
This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to take the next step in their career, as this small but dynamic environment allow access to a wide range of marketing activity. There is exposure to both brand and promotionally focused advertising on a national and local level. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with internal teams, including Operations, Construction and Senior Leadership, as well as for direct engagement with media agencies and creative partners. The Marketing Specialist will be able to impact local marketing programs and creative material all while providing overall project management for go-to-market deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage production schedule to track deliverables for all marketing initiatives across existing and new clubs
  • Own email marketing strategy and develop and execute email calendar
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is preferred but not required
  • Manage content on individual club web pages, including but not limited to offers, photos and videos
  • Act as go-to resource for field team and vendors during new club openings
  • Develop and communicate monthly marketing programs to field representatives
  • Coordinate with franchisor to ensure creative guidelines are met for all marketing material
  • Evaluate community-based marketing events and partner with club management to execute
  • Coordinate in-club promotions and events, like grand opening celebrations or club contests
  • Proofread all marketing materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and one to three years of relevant marketing experience or advertising experience.
  • Extremely well-organized and strong attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suit of programs; knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is preferred
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain focus and prioritize in a fast- paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with management internally and externally to meet deliverables
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
