WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for someone who is driven, motivated, and ready to take on various aspects of marketing tasks. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and be proactive in growing the visibility of our brands. This person will play a key role in driving brand awareness, supporting sales growth, creating marketing tools and assisting sales representatives in promoting our products effectively.
The successful candidate will possess both digital and traditional marketing skills, allowing them to create and execute impactful campaigns across multiple channels. They should have exceptional communication skills and the ability to align marketing efforts with our overarching business goals. This role demands a creative, results-driven mindset with the ability to support both long-term brand positioning and immediate sales objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on both digital and traditional marketing strategies.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Must be perfectly bilingual: written and spoken in both French and English.
- Independent & Driven: Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive marketing initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to effectively convey marketing messages.
- Strategic Alignment: Ability to align marketing strategies with business goals, ensuring all marketing initiatives contribute to overall company growth.
- Creative Mindset: Innovative, creative thinker with a focus on problem-solving and finding new ways to engage and expand target audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Brand Promotion: Develop and execute marketing strategies specifically tailored to promote the Diadora and Eletto Sport brands in the soccer market.
- Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and monitor engaging content across all social media platforms for Diadora and Eletto Sport, ensuring alignment with the soccer community.
- Online Website Management: Oversee and update the online stores for Diadora and Eletto Sport, ensuring accurate product listings, seamless user experiences, and timely updates.
- Digital Marketing Support: Coordinate and execute digital marketing initiatives, including the creation and distribution of flyers, newsletters, and other promotional materials to support sales and brand awareness.
- Soccer Events & Tradeshows: Attend local soccer club events and industry tradeshows to represent the Diadora and Eletto Sport brands. Assist with setup, branding, and building connections, while gathering valuable contacts and developing a targeted mailing list for marketing initiatives (around 3-4 per year)
- Promotional Ideas: Conceptualize and develop creative promotional gift items and point-of-purchase (POP) materials for retail and team partners.
- Presentation Support: Assist in designing and preparing impactful presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Packaging Coordination: Oversee the design and concepts of packaging for products, ensuring that it aligns with brand guidelines and provides a positive customer experience.
- Catalogue Coordination: Collaborate with graphic artists to manage and update product catalogues for Diadora and Eletto Sport, ensuring accuracy and visual appeal.
- Showroom Merchandising: Ensure the company showroom is properly merchandised to reflect the brand identity and highlight Diadora and Eletto Sport products.
- Campaign Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing recommendations for optimization and improvement.
