- Post-Secondary degree/diploma in Marketing or a related field.
- Experience with social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.
- Experience in the transportation industry an asset.
- Creative, digital savviness, originality and resourcefulness.
- Experience with design software (Canva).
- Experience with photo editing (Photoshop) an asset.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills, French an asset.
- Good working knowledge of Office suite and Google Sites.
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, and adapt as needed.
- Results oriented with a sense of urgency; motivated by success.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and personal commitment to exceeding commitments.
- Excellent time management and sense of priorities.
- Dynamic, passionate, and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute the monthly social media strategy and ensure timely creation of content on eachplatform (example: Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).
- Engage with followers, respond to comments, and manage social community interactions onbehalf of GLS.
- Create engaging content including graphics, videos, and copy to grow and maintain the GLSonline presence in collaboration with different departments.
- Manage all social media content to ensure alignment and branding consistency across platforms.
- Support company rebranding efforts in Western Canada alongside the Director of Marketing.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional material and collateral as needed.
- Manage logistics including booth setup, promotional materials, and travel arrangements forcompany sponsorships, events and trade shows (travel may be required).
- Maintain strong relationships internally with key stakeholders.
- Collect strategic and commercial competitive intelligence.
- Act as the go-to marketing representative in Western Canada.
COMPLEMENTARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in regular meetings as required by the organization.
- Stay up to date with relevant trends on social media.
- Update content on GLS internal communication platforms.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company services.
- Work on special projects as needed.
