We are seeking a Marketing Student for our Toronto district, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for4 month or 8 months starting January 6th, 2025. This position will be under the direct supervision of Marketing Specialist, working closely with the Marketing, Proposal and Communications department.
As a Marketing Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graphic design skills and creativity.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Illustrator (desired).
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent computer, Microsoft Office Suite and researching skills.
  • Critical and analytical thinking and the ability to articulate abstract ideas.
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information and resourcefulness.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated positive attitude, flexibility and a solution-provider mentality.
  • Ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of digital media and how to integrate it into the business process.
  • Ability to take initiative in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced, environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Create branded materials based on PCL’s visual guidelines (e.g., brochures, flysheets, PPTs, conference materials, posters and banners, etc.).
  • Produce visually compelling content and materials for internal/external audiences, including photography and graphic/document design.
  • Accurately update collection of marketing assets and collateral, maintain a log of changes.
  • Develop digital collateral such as landing pages and interactive brochures.
  • Interview internal stakeholders and/or use internal database to develop writeup for project profiles, marketing materials, resumes, and other purposes as required.
  • Assist in data entry and maintain accurate database and content on PCL’s internal sales and marketing platform SAMI.
  • Support marketing activities associated with internal and external events and conferences.
  • Review and proofread various internal documents and marketing related material.
  • Manage tasks/priorities as part of a creative team working within project schedules.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer-focused relationships with internal customers to develop branding solutions for products.
