JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Alliance Supervisor leads the development, implementation, and profitable growth of conversion and penetration business of partner companies. He/She identifies and selects partner companies that can build win-win relationships through analysis of markets and competitors in Asian countries. This position summarizes our discussion on how the two companies can build a complementary relationship in what areas, while leveraging their strengths. He/She develops, implements, and leads alliance strategy and programs for specified countries.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Directs Partnerships Marketing

  • Develops partnerships marketing plan and strategy to gain market share and revenue.
  • Researches the market (e.g., trends, competition, industry, etc.) to forecast market opportunities, understand competition, support product success, and grow revenue.
  • Analyzes and interprets research market data to determine and develop alliance strategy and to increase UPS’s competitive edge.
  • Evaluates and selects partner contact approach to ensure effectiveness in assessing partners needs and appropriate scope.
  • Develops analysis objectives to better understand the needs of partner and UPS countries and identify opportunities to extend market reach and reduce cost to serve
  • Implements alliance strategy and manages tactical operations of the marketing plan to attain projected revenues and to penetrate pre-determined markets.
  • Measures, analyzes, and reports feedback on marketing efforts (e.g., direct mail, databases, etc.) to determine success and enhancements, to develop directional data, and to drive revenue.
  • Consider alliance/partnership approach which will be best fit to the target countries based on the research and analysis.

Develops Partnerships Strategy

  • Creates agenda for strategy sessions to outline purpose of meetings and expected outcomes.
  • Works with cross functional groups (e.g., marketing, communications, customer technology, etc.) to define strategic opportunities and/or program components, assess market size, and build marketing and communications plans.
  • Participates in cross functional working sessions as both sponsor and subject matter expert to assist in writing business requirements for new products and marketing programs.
  • Produces project proposal for presentation to management to gain approval for project development.
  • Writes Program Development Document for initiative (i.e., description of project, cost and revenue impacts) to establish project priorities.
  • Generates marketing tactics (i.e., teleawareness, direct mail, etc.) to target customer issues and business drivers.
  • Compiles and analyses customer survey responses to understand customers’ needs and determine useful inputs for future strategies.

Supports Partnerships Strategy and Tactics Implementation and Execution in Respective Countries.

  • Attends partners meetings and conference to support local team.
  • Support pricing based on target rates, potential revenue and other inquiries
  • Evaluate strategy & tactics implemented with local countries and take necessary actions for improvement, revamp when necessary

Communicates and Shares Information with Stakeholders

  • Gathers and compiles relevant data for inclusion in presentations to explain or support findings and educate stakeholders.
  • Proactively addresses stakeholder concerns to facilitate understanding of any risks and benefits associated with the research project.

Develops Presentations

  • Develops presentations (i.e., PowerPoint) for senior management to ensure brand and product integrity.
  • Researches, writes, and reviews speeches, presentations, white papers, and articles for senior management and Sales to ensure integrity of presentations and material.

Responsibilities:

  • Require a Degree in Marketing or related fields
  • Possess at least 5-6 years of related role/industry experience
  • Prior people management experience are a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders across countries and levels
  • Able to work well independently and in a team
