Job Description
We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator (Professional), located in Christchurch, to develop sales tools, B2B activation campaigns to grow sales and create opportunities for added activity levels with customers across indirect (office catalogues, distributors) and direct (cafés, convenience, hotels). In this role you will develop and maintain efficient systems to supply sales and our distributors with product and marketing information as needed, for submissions and tenders as well as day-to-day.
The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Channel Marketing Manager (Professional). The Marketing Coordinator is also responsible for the management of the Christchurch office.
In this role you will be responsible for:
MANAGEMENT OF THE ‘EXPERIENCE CENTRE’ (XP)
- Working with the Marketing team and Sales teams to define the needs of the business for the XP Centre
- Managing the calendar of events for the XP Centre and act as the main point of contact and Event Coordinator for all events held at the XP Centre, such as industry events, customer or supplier meetings, training sessions and information sessions.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
- Previous FMCG industry background, or B2B experience from a relevant industry an advantage
- Commercial marketing knowledge
- Excellent project management skills and proven experience with project work
- Proven exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interact with the business and external partners/customers at a very high level
- High level of computer literacy (e.g. Powerpoint, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Word)
- Valid unrestricted work visa
