POSITION SUMMARY

As the Marketing Technology Project Co-ordinator, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing the planning, scheduling and client co-ordination to support Seneca’s email communications and outreach campaigns. Reporting to the Manager of Marketing Technology, you will review and fine-tune all messaging, ensuring crystal-clear language and consistent branding. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, making strategic recommendations that elevate Seneca’s style and brand standards. Plus, you’ll work closely with our dynamic team to strike the perfect balance, avoiding audience oversaturation while maximizing engagement.

CLIENT AWARENESS AND EDUCATION

  • Contributes to the development of a comprehensive communications strategy and work plan to optimize, improve and align communications to consistent Seneca brand standards and communicates the plan to the client.
  • Where appropriate, provides editing and shares with client to adhere to Seneca style and brand standards and industry best practices.
  • Works with the team and the client to deliver communications in a timely and efficient manner and ensures client awareness in all steps of the communications process.

EDUCATION

  • Minimum three (3) year diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience coordinating multiple projects and supporting communication strategies in a fast-paced environment, including ensuring adherence to brand and style requirements.
  • Experience managing client relationships and working with a diverse group of stakeholders, including developing presentations and reports.
  • Experience working with project management software.
  • Experience using Marketing Cloud is an asset.
  • Experience working within post-secondary education is an asset.

SKILLS

  • Strong communication skills, with exceptional writing and editing abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Clear understanding of the student journey, academic processes and the organizational structures within a college or university setting is ideal.
  • Superior time management, organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and juggle competing deadlines.
  • Analytical mind, with the ability to think critically and come up with solutions for continuous improvement.
    Note: A skills assessment test will be administered during the recruitment process.
    A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered as equivalent to the above requirements in the event that there are no internal applicants that meet the qualifications as posted. Equivalency will be assessed by the talent acquisition team.
