GenderGP is a leading informatics company and we are seeking a passionate, dedicated and tech-savvy Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of Operations, Project Managements, Vendor Management and digital competencies with a passion for helping users navigate their online journeys.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, operations, economics or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in consulting, strategy, marketplace operations or analytics
- Strong organisational, project management and stakeholder skills
- Fluency in English
- Passion for e-commerce and delivering world-class customer experience
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the online directory, ensuring smooth functioning and exceptional user experience
- Growth the commercial user traffic to the directory on both sides of the transaction (vendor and user) efficiently and with a focus on deep organic positioning
- Identify, onboard, and manage third-party vendors and service providers. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality service delivery
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to optimise terms and ensure cost-effectiveness. Analyse vendor proposals and recommend suitable agreements
- Responsible for the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the directory. Develop and monitor budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
- Utilise analytics and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of operations. Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability
- Collaborate with the tech team to integrate new technologies and features into the directory platform. Ensure that the directory remains up-to-date with the latest technological advancements
- Coordinate with Finance team to identify and resolve challenges
- Work to improve user experience on the platform through continuous optimization and implementation of user feedback
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business
- Conduct touchbase sessions with providers to ensure they remain updated with policy/procedural updates
- Timely and prompt response to internal and external queries and provide solutions
