We are seeking an appropriately experienced Mask Fit Testers for these full-time, ongoing positions. Supporting the Ambulance Victoria Respiratory Protection Program (RPP), the Mask Fit Tester is responsible for infield testing and adequate fitting of P2/N95 masks for operational employees and being the reference point for advice on individual optimum brand, model, and size to support employee health and wellbeing.
About the role
Reporting to the Lead, Safety Programs, responsibilities include (not limited to):
- Provide guidance, support, and instruction to employees as to the first point of call on issues relating to fit, wearing, and use of P2/N95 respirators and upload staff fit testing results into the online Fit Testing Portal
- Communicate with stakeholders across regional and metro areas to effectively organise administration, logistics and scheduling of fit testing
- Assist with respirator risk assessments together with key health and safety stakeholders
- Work closely with the Lead, Safety Programs to develop respirator options for staff when alternatives are required
About you
The successful candidate will have a working knowledge in the application of respirator fit testing in the healthcare setting. Additional requirements include, but not limited to:
- Qualification in CNC QNFT (Ambient Aerosol Condensation Nuclei Counter Quantitative Fit Testing) (desirable)
- Ability to work autonomously in accordance with the established procedures, guidelines, and policy
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams
- A current Victorian Driver Licence
