JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various masonry structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Mason, preferably in construction, renovation, and repair projects.
• Excellent knowledge of masonry materials, techniques, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials and tools.
• Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and building regulations.

  Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,500.00 per mont

• Construction and Installation:
• Build, repair, and maintain structures using bricks, concrete blocks, stones, and other materials.
• Lay out work according to blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Mix and apply mortar, cement, or grout for binding construction materials.
• Surface Finishing and Repairs:
• Perform plastering, tiling, and grouting for walls, floors, and ceilings.
• Apply decorative finishes to masonry surfaces, including polishing and sealing.
• Repair damaged masonry, including cracks, chips, and uneven surfaces.
• Structural Modifications:
• Break and cut surfaces using power tools to modify or reshape structures as required.
• Construct and repair frameworks for walls, floors, and other building components.
• Install or remove tiles, stones, and concrete blocks as part of renovations or upgrades.
• Site Preparation:
• Prepare work areas by leveling surfaces, setting forms, and cleaning sites.
• Measure, cut, and shape materials to fit specific project requirements.
• Handle materials safely and ensure proper storage on-site.
• Quality Assurance:
• Inspect completed work to ensure structural stability, alignment, and finishing quality.
• Follow construction plans and industry standards to meet project requirements.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
• Maintenance and Restoration:
• Maintain and restore older masonry structures to preserve their appearance and integrity.
• Perform waterproofing and sealing to protect masonry surfaces from weathering.
• Replace or reinforce weakened or deteriorated materials.
• Tools and Equipment Handling:
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean, maintain, and store tools and equipment properly after use.
• Teamwork and Collaboration:
• Work closely with other tradesmen, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Communicate effectively to report progress, challenges, or material needs.
• Assist in other construction-related tasks as needed.
