Are you passionate about food science and eager to explore the cutting-edge of milk functionality for barista applications? Do you want to work closely with industry professionals and apply your skills in real world settings? If so, the SKUMBAR project is the perfect opportunity for you.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a student with a background in food science, molecular biology, or related fields. Experience as a barista, whether professionally or at home, is a plus. If you’re interested in the forefront of food science and eager for a collaborative dialogue with professionals, this project is for you!

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques such as chromatography, electrophoresis, mass
  • spectrometry (MS), rheology, and foam quantification to characterize milk foam structure and
  • stability.
  • Apply application testing to connect analytical data with consumer experiences.
  • Conduct research at both the Arla Innovation Centre and the Department of Food Science,
  • benefiting from the diverse techniques and expertise at these locations.
  • Engage with the Arla Pro team, gaining insights into delivering high-performing barista products to professionals worldwide.
