Job Description:
The Ecofit Canada Team is seeking a Material Analyst who is passionate about Materials & Inventory control, efficiency and innovation.
He/She will be responisble of analysis of inventory structure, forecast input, establishing guidelines for managing inventory levels and obsolete & excess (O&E) reserves per business plan.
He/She will manages and lead an annual and spot physical inventory counts.
He/She will develop, maintain and provide support of business applications tools.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business/Administration, Operations Management, Finance, SCMP or APICS Accreditation
  • 5 years of experience in Materials Management.
  • Management or Supervisory experience is an asset.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, Outlook
  • Knowledge in ISO 9001-2015, WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety Acts
  • Experience in working with different Material Control Mainframe computer systems. (Inventory Control/Purchasing, KANBAN, AMAPS, SAP)
  • Listens to others and communicates effectively, uses critical judgment to make decisions and solve problems, provides service excellence to internal and external clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead Physical Inventory counts (annual and quarterly) as per Financial Calendar including evaluating results supporting Finance reconciliation, establishing procedures, maintaining all related documentation and compliance to process.
  • Work closely with Finance on monthly inventory reviews (GL systems) as well as monthly COGS transactions and inventory input/out analysis
  • Provide tactical and operations analysis of inventory make up structure, forecast input, establishing guideline and recommendations for managing inventory levels including O&E reserves per business plan. Lead initiatives as required.
  • Develop/Maintain and provide support for MS Access based tools: Automated Order Management db, Materials Job Order Status db and Capacity Loading db to meet business needs as required.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and training on leveraging business tool and systems applications.
  • Provide support to customer service, manufacturing operations, production planning, materials management, inventory control, information systems, new product introductions and product line transfers.
  • Lead and Implement process / efficiency and continuous improvement projects as necessary.
  • Support and adherence to all Safety requirements.
