Leidos Dynetics currently has an opening for a Material Control Analyst to work in our MidCity facility in Huntsville, AL. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Hypersonic Program. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of experience in the commercial, non-commercial, hardware and software materials to support the development of government systems within Logistics.
  • Preferred candidate will have 1 year of applicable working experience working in inventory and cycle counting.
  • Candidate must have experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft outlook.
  • Candidate must be able to routinely lift objects up to 35-45 pounds.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and must possess and maintain a Final Secret Clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Microsoft Office Software Suite.
  • Microsoft Excel.
  • DELTEK Costpoint.
  • Inventory Control with knowledge of Hazmat and/or Shipping/Receiving Experience.
  • Working in Defense related field.
  • Inventory Control of Shelf-Life material.

Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming Flight Hardware material and Raw material for Inventory.
  • Perform inventory control tasks using DELTEK Costpoint management system.
  • Process incoming and outgoing subcontract materials and assemblies.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Production Control Planners.
  • Move materials between the Inventory Management Warehouse and Production Floor using a fork-lift or pallet jack.
  • Daily cycle count audits for physical inventory locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Perform additional duties as required which may include packaging, shipping, material control, etc.
