Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Safely ensure the timely and accurate movement of stock to provide quality support to internal and external customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to operate light equipment (pallet jack, hand jack, and power jacks).
  • Forklift Certification per OSHA standards.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with RF equipment.
  • Physical agility and stamina to stand, walk, bend and lift (up to 60 pounds).
  • Basic problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Must be able to follow directions.
  • High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others.
  • Must be able to execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
  • Often Work in varying temperatures, depending upon the season.
  • Demonstrated flexibility with work schedule; ability to work overtime to meet business demands.
  • High school level reading and math skills.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Assure compliance with all related safety regulations.
  • Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs.
  • Operate forklifts to move material through facility in a safe manner.
  • Unload/load shipments from trucks.
  • Sort and place products of identical merchandise on pallets.
  • Count cartons, verify SKUs against packing list and reconcile to bill of lading.
  • Use automated systems and RF units to pull, put away and load/unload customer products, in addition to managing inventory.
  • Accurately scan and label cartons/pallets.
  • Repack boxes as needed.
  • Respond to order shortages.
  • Pick full cases.
  • Replenish pick bins.
  • Put away cartons and pallets.
  • Conduct location audits.
  • Move inventory and update location information.
  • Look for and research missing stock to meet order requirements.
  • Perform housekeeping duties.
  • Serve as a member of the Distribution Center team, helping with other tasks as needed.
