Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Functions:
1. Perform daily materials operations related to the ordering of supplies, maintaining inventory, proper storage locations, receipt, raw material sampling, storage, on-site transfer, shipment preparation and disposal of materials ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory agency requirements and policies and procedures.
2. Act as responsible agent for operation and troubleshooting of Warehouse equipment.
3. Apply SAP to run storage, movement and inventory transactions.
4. Perform all cGMP operations per procedure as required.
5. Prepare shipments for intermediates, final product and waste to central warehouse.
6. Order raw materials for manufacturing production and order/stock storeroom of HIBL supplies.
7. Enter material receipt information into SAP. Resolve discrepancies with Purchasing, Accounting, and end users.
8. Ensure the receipt, safe storage and off-site disposal of trash and hazardous waste.
9. Verify all production materials for correct quantities, lot number, item code number, quality and valid releases.
10. Ensure incoming material is sampled and delivered to the appropriate lab with no safety or procedural infractions.
11. Submit and follow-up on maintenance notifications on equipment for assigned areas.
12. Perform all record keeping duties and enter information into computerized systems as required to ensure material accountability.
13. Perform various material handling duties including receiving, storage/retrieval, and shipping per Standard Operating Procedures and TRs.
14. Perform other duties such as: cycle counting, safe disposal of trash and hazardous waste, warehouse inspections/housekeeping, on-site mail distribution, operating all motorized and automated material handling equipment to include forklifts and an Automated Storage and Retrieval System, and bar-coding applications.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 3 years of experience in manufacturing setting, preferably in warehouse related operations with inventory experience
  • 6 month forklift experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • SAP experience preferred

Equivalency:
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
Physical Requirements:
Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about the site; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically, manipulation (lift, carry, move) of weight up to 50 pounds; arm, hand
and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May occasionally be exposed to various types of chemical substances. Will use safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coat, latex or similar gloves, safety apron, and organic respirator (occasionally)
