Role Summary:
Flowserve Chesapeake is looking for a motivated and upbeat individual to join the team! As a Second Shift Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, packaging and unpackaging materials, assisting in stocking and pulling parts from storage, and performing various tasks associated with shipping and receiving. This role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Hours are 3:30 PM - Midnight

Responsibilities:

• Unload incoming shipments and verify accuracy of bill of lading and packing list
• Conduct inspections and provide damage identification as needed
• Accurately record materials received and ensure system receipt within 24 hours
• Verify outbound shipments and properly package for damage-free delivery
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow warehouse processes
• Abide by Flowserve safety requirements and occasional overtime

Requirements:

• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for contributing to the team’s success
• Forklift
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous material handling experience
• Forklift certified
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work in a production environment
