Material Handling Specialist - Side-Loader Operator

Summary:
Serves as a specialist of RMA area, ensuring the safe transfer of returned material products to and from vessels.

What You’ll Do:

• Confirms accuracy of all transfers
• Demonstrates proper procedure for labeling received material
• De-trash all received materials
• Notify Quality Dept of any perceived quality issues with received material
• Promptly identifies and completes material transfer issues
• 100% accuracy for system transactions
• Understands and can explain how material transactions affect the business
• Accurately transfers stock in Frontier
• Handles all material disputes
• Demonstrates proper handling and notation of discrepancies on driver’s bill and notating packing list for internal follow up
• Identifies and dispatch HOT material upon arrival
• Ensures consistent flow of Cardinal trailers
• Champion for change
• Takes initiative to offer suggestions for performance improvements

Who You Are:

• Able to pull hand truck loaded with finished goods to warehouse.
• Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs regularly.
• Must be dependable and a good listener.
• Forklift experience a must.
• Able to accept responsibility and follow through.
• Reads and uses tape measure.
• Determines dimensions of boxes or crates needed and assemble.
• Interprets computer screens to determine production status and location of product to be located.
• Operates and understands maintenance requirements of hand and power tools.
• Reads and understand production ticket to determine necessary product to be returned.
• Understands packaging requirements of different products.
• Understands process for transferring completed product to warehouse.
• Demonstrates team skills, safety awareness and good housekeeping.
