Description:
We are hiring a Long-Distance Material Planner to… schedule and coordinate the distribution of products to meet customer demand, keeping inventory levels maintained, and revising shipment plans as needed. They will work with other departments to ensure that the accuracy of shipment records and customer satisfaction is met. The role involves analyzing product demand and trends to make necessary inventory adjustments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree on Engineering, Business, Administration or related.
- Advanced English is a must.
- +3 years of experience in supply chain.ERP Knowledge.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in Material Planner or Planner Buyer
- Strong Knowledge Analysis Forecast expertise
- Involvement in projects related to the role
- Proficient in SAP
- Intermediate Excel skills
- APICS certification
- Ability to analyze and forecast data for effective supply chain management

Responsibilities:
- Analyze material requirements for raw and purchased material to complete production orders sequenced production and delivery of parts from internal and external suppliers.
- Analyzes and revises shipment plans as required.
- Works with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and accuracy of shipment records.
- Determines reorder points and ensures that sufficient levels of inventory are maintained.
- Analyzes actual product demand, trends, and forecasts, and adjusts inventory plans accordingly.
- Regular maintenance of materials throughout life cycle.
- Process material rejects Root cause and corrective actions, QMN’s.
- Represents LDSC materials planning on Product Development projects while working with cross-functional teams.Communicate with manufacturing plants in NA and across the globe, Order fulfillment, Logistics, and international suppliers.
