Material Planner Team Leader

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Line Manager experience
• Knowledge and experience of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Working within high volume short lead-time JIT environment
• Previous working knowledge of a production environment
• Previous experience working with OEM Customers.
• Active user of MRP systems.

• Collaborate with department leaders to track work progress, compile progress reports, monitor inventory levels, costs, and production issues.
• Communicate effectively with Team Leaders and colleagues through various mediums.
• Utilise computer systems to input data and process information efficiently.
• Engage with the production dept to address series and aftermarket supplier/customer requirements.
• Chase production progress to provide clear status updates and support departments in understanding priorities, risks, and issues.
• Provide accurate commitments to suppliers/customers by liaising with the production team.
• Update supplier/customer requirement plans and share demand forecasts internally.
• Coordinate transportation needs with dispatch and arrange inbound/outbound transport.
