Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Material Planning Analyst located in Flex PTP.
Reporting to the Material Planning Manager the Material Planning Analyst role is responsible of maintaining materials/purchasing data, supply data and information to other production departments, coordinate contracts, maintain Certificates of Conformance for all suppliers, and create and maintain outsources parts schedules.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Mastered in end-to-end manufacturing process (receive demand until Finished Goods).
  • Familiar with Demand Management (MRP/ ERP/IDMS etc) to enforce overall Data Accuracy, Forecasting, Analysis as well as Collaboration and communication within team players.
  • Able to demonstrate and develop detailed Master Plan which includes Capacity, UPH, Headcount and gap between Demand vs capacity.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate processes for material delivery to point of fit to ensure continuous supply to production.
  • Managing material and equipment availability, scheduling production and monitoring the production process for problems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitoring project progress and adjusting as necessary to ensure successful completion on schedule and within budget.
  • Advanced excel knowledge to assist in preparing CTB, summary reports, spreadsheets, graphics and charts based on the research of data.
  • Assist in the preparation of recommendations to management based on the research of data.
  • Prepares summary reports, spreadsheets, and charts based on research of data from multiple sources.
  • Daily review production schedule and potential gated parts at risk.
  • Create weekly production orders based on shipment requirement.
  • Analyze Bill of materials (BOM) accuracy.
  • Proactively identifies and escalates potential issues related to material/production.
  • Where applicable, suggest process/communication improvements relative to metric tracking activities.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in materials or related field.
  • A background in electronics manufacturing is desired.
