Responsibilities:
This role focuses on purchasing, inventory management, material planning strategies and supplier relationships to ensure efficient material availability, balancing cost, quality, and reliability. This position offers an opportunity to grow professionally in a dynamic, collaborative environment while ensuring the seamless flow of materials to meet production goals.
Duties:
- Develop the Material Requirements Plan (MRP) using SAP to meet production needs.
- Maintain accurate SAP master data to ensure effective planning signals.
- Develop and implement material planning strategies through SAP to ensure the timely availability of materials for production and minimize disruptions.
- Coordinate material deliveries with suppliers and address constraints proactively.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of materials and improve supplier performance.
- Manage raw material changes through close collaboration with Procurement, Buyers, Engineering, Production and Quality.
- Support scenario planning and material analysis.
- Manage inventory levels, minimizing excess, obsolete, and expired materials.
- Prepare and maintain reports on material planning metrics, inventory turnover, and supply chain performance for management review.
- Resolve potential material shortages and escalate critical impacts on production schedules.
- Engage with compliance activities, including change control and CAPA resolution.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in material planning and inventory management.
- Drive continuous improvement in material planning and operations processes
