As our next Materials Support Assistant, you’ll be at the forefront of supporting the materials department. Your expertise in materials management will be crucial in driving our success and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Receiving parts from the package rack, opening and checking the package, and verifying with the PO. Sending emails to the requester for notification.
  • Shipping repair parts to vendors and making arrangements for shipping and receiving.
  • Booking taxis and arranging carriers for parts shipping and receiving when required.
  • Assisting in setting up service schedules or technical calls or meetings to help troubleshoot and solve issues, and obtaining equipment drawings, manuals, and procedures.
  • Putting away received parts in inventory and updating the system accordingly.
  • Finding items from the system, physically checking inventory, and handing it to the requester.
  • Preparing, packing, shipping, and tracking repair parts. Checking with vendors about the status of repair items and following up.
  • Reviewing inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, physical inventory checking, updating the system, and physically rearranging inventory for parts location.
  • Reviewing and verifying spare parts log out sheets and updating the system accordingly.
  • Conducting cycle counts and inventory updates.
  • Responding to emails from Buckland to help solve clearance issues.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in materials management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of computers, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to cooperate and work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and liaison skills.
  • Availability to work overtime when required (e.g., for physical inventory).
