POSITION OVERVIEW:
We’re currently seeking a dedicated Materials Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, term position for the months of May thru to December. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in performing both field and laboratory tests, ensuring adherence to safe work practices and procedures. Your responsibilities will include density testing in the field, concrete testing, and various laboratory analyses of soils.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
- Possession of a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test.

Responsibilities:
- Perform field and laboratory tests while strictly adhering to safe work practices.
- Conduct density testing, concrete testing (including field testing, cylinder preparation, and strength testing), and various laboratory analyses of soils.
- Execute testing procedures in accordance with CCIL specifications, as applicable.
