Description:

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, motivated and self-driven individual to join our maternity operational workforce as a Maternity Administration Co-ordinator.
You will be responsible for the line management and leadership of the allocated band 4 administration and clerical team within maternity, working to support the Maternity, Gynaecology and Breast Division to achieve their operational and strategic targets through senior administrative duties.
The position is 37.5 hours per week with flexible working patterns considered across Monday-Friday. This is a pan-site role between Peterborough City Hospital & Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
The post holder will be the line manager, overseeing the administration function within the maternity specialty, ensuring a high quality and comprehensive administrative service across maternity services.
To take responsibility for supervising a team of administration and clerical staff taking operational responsibility for them and for the allocation of their work.
Develop, manage, and review staff and their working practices to ensure the delivery of an efficient service.
The post holder will be responsible for working with senior management and clinical teams, coordinating administration pathways, and associated administrative tasks.
The post holder will work with the Service Manager to provide operational support to lead and develop services, in the delivery of high-quality care.
The post holder will support the operational team to promote and support quality improvement within maternity, seeking to improve services and experiences for staff and service users.
To work closely with the teams to ensure effective communication, consistency and standardization of clerical and administration processes across the maternity, clinical business unit.
