Smile Education Sheffield is working in partnership with a well-known, secondary school in Sheffield. We are supporting them in the recruitment of a Maths Teacher– Full time, 5 days per week. This is open to Cover Supervisors if you have proven UK experience teaching Science within the UK.
The school will be recruiting for this Maths Teacher from Dec and January
To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or 6 months UK Experience.

Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the Maths curriculum planning and delivery to reflect needs of the children.
- To work in conjunction with teaching and non-teaching staff
- To lead a National Curriculum area of learning by undertaking a series of clearly specified responsibilities.
- Leading on a curriculum subject – Maths Teacher
- To be an excellent role model for a team of teaching assistants and visiting students, emphasising the needs for high standards in behaviour and dress at all times
- To hold and participate in regular team meetings to discuss classroom management, students’ progress, and needs.
We would like applicants to have demonstrative experience in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Strong working knowledge of effective assessment and intervention is essential to ensure equal opportunities across the school.
