Job Advertisement: Part-Time Math’s Tutor
Location: Lincoln (Wednesday’s)
Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time
Hours: 9.5 per week

Schedule:

• Teaching: Wednesdays, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Admin: Additional 2 hours to be completed at a mutually agreed time.

About the Role:
Are you a passionate and skilled Math’s Tutor eager to inspire learners and make a real difference in their academic journey?
We’re seeking a motivated professional to join our Math’s & English division in a part-time, face-to-face teaching role. You will play a crucial part in guiding learners toward achieving their GCSE Maths qualifications, and, in some cases, Functional Skills, particularly for those with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
You’ll be working with learners pursuing vocational qualifications in diverse fields such as public services (military academy), hair and beauty, and construction—focusing on those who do not yet hold a Maths or English qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, effective, and inspiring lessons in GCSE Maths.
• Provide Functional Skills teaching where required.
• Support learners in achieving Maths or English qualifications for the first time.
• Tailor your teaching to meet the unique needs of vocational learners across disciplines.

What We’re Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Level 3 qualification in Maths or a closely related subject.
• A teaching qualification (minimum Level 3).
• A genuine passion for empowering learners to achieve their goals.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience delivering Maths.
• The ability to adapt and connect with diverse groups of learners.
