ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an experienced education administrator with a service orientated outlook able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will have experience of project work and curriculum organisation and timetabling. They will be able to work independently and will be skilled in coordinating and prioritising their own work and that of their team.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are recruiting for an Undergraduate Medicine Placements Coordinator based at the Royal Free Hospital campus in Hampstead.
The post holder will oversee placements for Year 4 of the MBBS program, ensuring a high-quality student experience and the delivery of excellent clinical training in alignment with the Intended Learning Outcomes in the MBBS Curriculum Map and the General Medical Council’s Outcomes for Graduates. The post holder will manage two Placements Administrators working in the same year of study and will work closely with the wider site-based Placements Team to support activities within and across years, to provide cross-cover to enable continuity of services to staff and students. The post holder will participate in preparation and on-the-day delivery of clinical examinations at their site.
The Placements Team works closely with local clinical and specialty leads, as well as a wide range of academic, clinical, and professional services staff from UCL Medical School and its partner NHS Trusts and UCL medical students.

Appointment details:

  • The post is graded at grade 7, the annual salary for which ranges from £43,124 to £51,610 per annum inclusive of London weighting
  • The appointment is available from 22nd April 2025 as a fixed term post covering maternity leave until 22nd January 2026.
