Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for the overview of the operations, purchasing / budgeting, HSE, and quality control of plants within their respective region.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in science, engineering, math, or technology.
- 10 + years of management in a manufacturing role and an in-depth knowledge of production systems and facility operations.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- 5 Years experience managing a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Access.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing Operations: Managing the overall manufacturing operations within a designated region, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are met.
- Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize manufacturing processes, improve operational performance, and achieve business objectives.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Managing financial resources, preparing budgets, and monitoring expenses to maintain cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Team Management: Leading and supervising a team of manufacturing supervisors, engineers, and staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Process Improvement: Identifying areas for process improvement, implementing Lean and Six Sigma type methodologies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Supply Chain Management: Collaborating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, manage inventory levels, and optimize supply chain operations.
- Quality Assurance: Implementing and maintaining quality control systems, adhering to regulatory requirements, and ensuring products meet quality standards.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment, and implementing risk management procedures.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, sales/marketing, logistics and tech services to align manufacturing operations with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Reporting and Analysis: Collecting and analyzing operational data, preparing reports, and preparing presented key performance indicators to senior management.
