MDU SUPERVISOR – DUBLIN
Position Details

As a MDU Supervisor you will play a vital role in our mission to build future-proof networks that empower our clients, businesses and communities alike.
As an integral part of our dynamic Contract Resource team, you’ll be immersed in an environment driven by cutting-edge technology and fuelled by constant innovation.
Reporting directly to our client, the successful candidate will streamline deliverables whilst maintaining high health & safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for successful MDU network build, aligned with MDU build program schedule.
- Responsible for appropriate + adequate Build Partner resource deployment, escalating risk when necessary.
- Maintaining workflow management progress data updates.
- Technical Readiness network completion, in advance of access network build.
- Ensuring adequate stock availability to ensure build partners maintain targeted deliveries.
- Ensure specific build risks have been mitigated in advanced of build program.
- Ensure timely capital budget (CER) approvals + Purchase Order creation, to meet build program.
- Assistance with month-end ‘work in progress’ spend accruals.
- Monthly contractor stock take governance.
- Tracking build progress actual vs forecast vs budget.
- Maintaining quality through continuous liaison with Virgin Media Quality Audit teams. And Build Partners.
- Reporting to the MDU Work stream Build Manager.
Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years previous project supervision experience preferably within the Telecoms Industry.
- Demonstrable supervisory experience in the construction / telecoms / cable industry.
- Track record of effectively delivering results through others within tight timelines and to a consistently high standard.
- Demonstrable previous experience of supervising outsourced contractor activities.
- Experience in Contractor Liaison / Contractor Supervision
- Exceptional communication, influencing, negotiation and report writing skills.
- IT literate in MS Office applications.
- Proven ability to influence effectively at all levels within the business.
- A full driving License.
