We are seeking an experienced people leader to join our Technology Testing Laboratory to take the responsibility for leading and managing the Measurement System team.
As part of the Technology Testing Laboratory, your primary focus will be the validation campaigns of the New Product / Technology Development across IET business units, related to the core turbomachinery as well as new the Climate Technology Solutions.
The Measurement System Leader is accountable for the Sensors Technology Development (NTD) and responsible for special instrumentations selection, measurement chain and data acquisition platform design, electrical, DCS design for new test benches, partnering with other TTL functions and all the other IET organizations.
As people leader, you will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members daily, acting proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration engaging the team to achieve goals.

Responsibilities:
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as People leader on engineering functions.
- Be familiar with electrical, instrumentation, control system design and digital technologies.
- Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with the aptitude to influence others and create collaborative and inclusive teams in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.
- Strong analytical, process improvement and project management skills. Knowledge of planning and analysis tools for project management.
- Cross-functional teamwork with ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Demonstrate effective decision-making, organizational and time management skills.
- Have good verbal and written skills, be fluent both in English and Italian and hold an EU EU Work Permit.

- Drive the LRP (Long Range Plan) for the Sensors Technology, assuring its execution on time and on bdg, directly guiding the Sensors Laboratory and leveraging on the on other BH research organizations, Universities and international institutions.
- Ensure project (NTD, NPD) execution, meeting Operating plan targets (NTD OTDs, P&E execution, BT bdg, Yield%, …)
