REQUIREMENTS & AVAILABILITY

• Weekend, evening, and holiday availability required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull up to 100 lbs working in cooler/freezer storage areas including required overhead and lower shelf reaching, bending and stooping.
• Use knife to cut meat to exact specifications of the Straub’s brand.
• Standing work on tile or concrete for duration of shift.
• Work with cleaning chemicals and solvents.
• We are a union employer. All employees are required to join the union.

• Provide excellent customer service. Greet all customers and respond to customer questions/requests.
• Use product knowledge when selling to customers at the case.
• Identify the various cuts of meat. Weigh wrap/package products in a clean, neat, and attractive package that customers want to purchase.
• Write down customer’s special orders/requests.
• Prepare and organize the cooler/freezer/backroom/preparation area for receipt of merchandise, assist in unloading trucks.
• Clean department floors, mirror, case, racks, tables, cooler, freezer, department equipment, product preparation area, and shelves.
