Meat Counter Clerk

Seeking responsible, motivated individuals to join our Meat Counter Service Team.
Cantoro Meat Department is a high volume upscale specialty meat counter. Our culture is rooted deeply in customer service and providing an exceptional shopping experience to all of our guests. We believe our counter service is our sales force.
1 year retail meat counter experience preferred. Candidate must be presentable, reliable, have good communication skills and demonstrate a high degree of drive and determination. Knowledge of Health Department regulations for proper handling of foods preferred. Depending on experience, pay rate can be negotiated.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Previous related experience and knowledge of meats preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation, storage/handling.
• Have open availability (Shifts are from 12pm-8:30pm)
• Stand on feet for 8 hours, lifting and bending
• Be able to multitask and work with a sense of urgency
• Requires ability to lift 25-50 pounds frequently.

• Anticipate and deliver exceptional service consistently.
• Must keep meat case presentation and backstock impeccable.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
