POSITION SUMMARY
The Licensed HET is responsible for servicing and maintaining company equipment by using standard “Best Practices”, and providing guidance to apprentices. Responsibilities will encompass diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting repairs, and performing preventive maintenance tasks to keep our fleet in optimal condition. Additionally, will collaborate with the maintenance team, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to minimizing downtime and maximizing the efficiency of our trucking services.

Responsibilities:
- Examine objects, systems, or facilities, and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs
- Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel
- Assist apprentices and technicians to correct job-skill deficiencies and provide developmental direction.
- Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions
- Compile operational and personnel records, such as time and production records, inventory data, repair and maintenance statistics, and test results
