Automotive Service Technician – NOC 72410
Evolution Auto Repair – 7386 6th St. Burnaby BC
$32.00/ hour - 40 hours per week
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicle and equipment
- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
- Provide labour and estimates for automotive repairs
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Conduct inspections to identify any potential problems or safety concerns
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient work-flow
- Stay-up-to date with industry advancement and new technologies
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers when required and explain repair procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

Pay: $32.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- Certificate in Automotive Servicing
- Certificate of Apprenticeship
- Driver’s License
Experience: 2 or more years
Schedule: Monday to Friday
