Description:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Receipt and identification of components
- Chemical cleaning of components
- Inspection procedures and processes
- Welding of turbine components
- Blending of turbine components
- Operation of various machines/equipment i.e. EDM, CNC milling machines, surface grinders etc.
- Completion of product process tasks in accordance in accordance with approved data (e.g., Opsheets, TPS,..)
- Compliance with applicable quality system procedures (e.g., process control checks, reporting non-conformance, policies, safety statement, air cargo security, Radiation safety, Airworthiness requirements)
- Recording of results of inspections, tests, control checks, batch/run numbers, work completed, to maintain a true record of work completed. Verifying and maintaining component identification
- Perform all tasks in a safe manner and observing good human factors principles
- Assist Lead Hands in achieving goals set

- Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment
- Good standard of education
- Display acceptable aptitude in verbal & numeric skills & mechanical comprehension
- Experience in an industrial environment is also an advantage
