Mechanic/Technician

To support our growing business and to help us prepare for our peak season. We are adding to our team and require a Mechanic. They will be part of the fleet maintenance team responsible for our fleet of vehicles, welfare units and accommodation trailers to ensure they are serviced and kept ready to hire at all times.

LGV Mechanic/Technician, role includes but is not limited to:

• Maintaining and servicing the fleet of vehicles
• MOT Preparation
• Operating and maintaining plant and equipment
• Finding and fixing faults in plant and equipment
• Assessing and testing plant and equipment
• Environmental, health and safety law, regulations and standards
• Interpreting technical specifications and documents
• Other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work to your initiative
• Excellent communicator who can work well in a team
• Time served or Minimum Semi Skilled (NVQ Level 2)

• Maintaining and servicing the fleet of vehicles

• Operating and maintaining plant and equipment
