Royal Den Hartogh Logistics is a logistics service provider specialised in the transportation of liquid chemicals, gases and dry bulk. It is a growing and informal organisation with over 2,200 employees worldwide. The family owned company was founded over a century ago and now has 50 locations in 27 countries. Den Hartogh has modern equipment, including more than 24,335 tank containers, 5,767 dry bulk containers, 310 tank trailers and 700 trucks.
Den Hartogh Scandinavia has since the last couple of years been expanding rapidly, and we strive to continue this journey during the coming years. We are today 60 colleagues and continue to grow. One of our Swedish offices is located in Gothenburg City center and the other one is located in the Gothenburg area, with our own terminal for activities like cleaning, heating, repair, storage and homebase for our drivers.

THE JOB

We are now looking for a Mechanic to join our team in the workshop at our site in Stora Holm, Säve. As a Mechanic, you will carry out repairs and maintenance on all our containers. Your responsibilities include:

  • Repairing valves and replacing gaskets;
  • Performing pressure tests;
  • Replacing lining and insulation of tanks;
  • Repairing frame of tanks;

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

We are looking for you who;

  • have a high regard for safe working practices;
  • have technical insight and an eye for quality;
  • have a basic knowledge of welding and experience with certain repair work;
  • are handy and like to roll up your sleeves;
  • have the ability to learn multiple disciplines on the workshop floor.
  • have a drivers license, it is an advantage when commuting to the sitefeel comfortable to speak both Swedish & English
